Data We Do Not Collect

HydroFlow does not collect personal data from you for our own servers or for third parties. In App Store Connect privacy labeling terms, HydroFlow does not “collect” data: nothing is transmitted off your device to the developer or to advertising/analytics partners. There is no account system, no developer backend, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Hydration records and preferences stay on your device so the app can work offline.

Information Stored on Your Device

To provide app functionality, HydroFlow stores the following information locally on your device (for example via iOS UserDefaults and related on-device storage): • Water intake records (date, amount, beverage type, hydration equivalent) • Estimated caffeine intake (for caffeinated beverages) • Daily hydration goals and preferences • Body profile (height, weight, optional auto-goal calculation) • Mood notes (optional; text notes require Pro) • Reminder settings • Achievement and ocean progress data • Pro purchase status (verified locally via Apple StoreKit) This information is used only on your device to: • Track daily water intake and show progress • Calculate hydration statistics • Schedule local reminder notifications (if enabled) • Display achievements and Living Ocean unlocks We do not sell, share, or upload this information to external servers operated by us.

Data Storage

Your hydration-related information remains on your device and is: • Stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage (such as UserDefaults) • Encrypted by iOS when the device is locked (as applicable) • Included in your device backup (iCloud/computer) only if you enable backups • Never transmitted by HydroFlow over the internet to our servers • Removed when you delete the app (subject to any backups you keep)

Notifications

If you enable reminder notifications, we use Apple's local notification system to send you hydration reminders. These notifications: • Are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device • Do not require internet connectivity • Can be disabled at any time in Settings • Do not track your location or behavior

Analytics and Diagnostics

HydroFlow does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The app may rely on Apple's system-level diagnostic services (such as anonymous crash reports submitted through iOS when you opt in). This data: • Does not contain personally identifiable information • Is collected only through Apple's platform, not by HydroFlow directly • Is used solely for debugging and improvement • Is handled according to Apple's privacy standards You can disable analytics in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Apple Health Integration

If you enable Apple Health integration in Settings, HydroFlow will sync your water intake and caffeine intake records to the Health app on your device, and may read today's water intake from Health for display purposes. • Data written: Water intake amount, beverage type, and caffeine content • Data read: Dietary water intake (today's total, when authorized) • Storage: Stored locally on your device within the Health app • No data is transmitted to external servers through this integration • You can revoke access at any time: Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices

In-App Purchases

HydroFlow offers a one-time Pro upgrade purchase. Purchase transactions are: • Processed securely by Apple through the App Store • Subject to Apple's privacy policy • Not collected or stored by HydroFlow We only verify your purchase status locally through Apple's StoreKit framework.

Sharing

HydroFlow lets you voluntarily share rendered images (such as daily progress cards or ocean creature cards) through the iOS system share sheet. Sharing is always initiated by you. We do not receive or store shared content on our servers.

Third-Party & Licensed Content

HydroFlow includes media from multiple sources. The app itself does not upload your personal data to these providers. Children's Privacy

HydroFlow’s App Store age rating is 13+ (regional ratings may vary). The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children for our servers. HydroFlow does not require account creation or online connectivity to use core features.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data: • Access: All your data is visible within the app • Modify: Edit or delete records at any time • Delete: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data • Share: Export rendered summary images via the iOS share sheet (user-initiated)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of HydroFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

The App provides: • Water intake tracking and logging with beverage-type selection • Hydration equivalent percentages for different beverages (general reference values) • Customizable daily goals, cup size, and optional body-profile-based auto-goal calculation • Reminder notifications (fixed, smart, and rolling schedules; some require Pro) • Progress statistics, history, and analytics • Achievement tracking and ocean creature collection • Living Ocean background experience and celebration animations • Optional mood diary (mood selection is free; written notes require Pro) • Shareable progress and creature cards via the iOS share sheet • Optional Apple Health sync • One-time Pro upgrade unlocking additional features The App is provided "as is" for informational and motivational purposes only.

Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: HydroFlow is NOT a medical device and should NOT be used for medical diagnosis or treatment. • The App provides general hydration tracking only • Hydration recommendations and beverage equivalent percentages are generic reference values and may not suit everyone • Beverage hydration percentages (including alcohol and caffeine-containing drinks) are for tracking convenience only, not medical or nutritional advice • Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice • Individual hydration needs vary based on health, activity, climate, etc. • Do not rely solely on this App for health-related decisions By using this App, you acknowledge that it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

User Responsibilities

You agree to: • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws • Provide accurate information when using the App • Take responsibility for your own health and hydration decisions • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App • Not use the App for any unauthorized commercial purposes

Sharing

Sharing is entirely voluntary and initiated by you. • We do not control how you share content on external platforms • We are not responsible for content you choose to publish outside the App • Shared images may include your hydration statistics; review content before sharing

Pro Subscription / Purchase

HydroFlow offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade purchase: • Pro upgrade is a one-time, non-recurring purchase • Payment is processed through the Apple App Store • Pro features are unlocked permanently after purchase • Purchases are tied to your Apple ID • Purchases can be restored on other devices using the same Apple ID Refund Policy: • All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy • To request a refund, contact Apple Support directly • We cannot process refunds directly

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of HydroFlow are owned by the App developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content • Use the App's name, logo, or branding without permission • Create derivative works based on the App • Extract, redistribute, or resell individual assets (images, videos, or sounds) from the App

Third-Party Content

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation • We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App • We are not responsible for data loss or device issues • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Privacy and Data

Your use of HydroFlow is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to the practices described there. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to: • Terminate or suspend access to the App • Remove the App from the App Store • Discontinue support or updates Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property provisions and limitation of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the App developer operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith contact at hydroflowapp@gmail.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to courts or arbitration bodies of competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.
